Men practicing Iyengar Yoga - meet our students


Why don’t more men practice yoga ? We will share the thoughts of the ones who do over the next few weeks. Padraig has joined us recently and here’s what he thinks.


“Like most people, I know that we need to pay more attention to all aspects of our health and fitness as we get older. In this respect yoga ticks a few boxes. It helps with flexibility, balance, strength and stability.

I started yoga classes a couple of months ago and I find it very beneficial. In addition to the physical benefits I find the classes are great mental therapy.

As someone coming to yoga later in life I am attracted to Iyengar Yoga because of the emphasis on detail. If I am to learn something new now the precise instruction is attractive.”
